LiveGreen Inc. has created a 3-step approach for evaluating and improving a home's sustainability called a GreenOver. The GreenOver guides homeowners through the process of turning any home into a healthy, energy-efficient and sustainable home.
Step 1: Home Assessment
The GreenOver process begins with a LiveGreen Assessment, a full-scope evaluation based off the LiveGreen Inc. Standards and Principles. Our green specialists dedicate up to three hours to perform a complete home inspection and evaluation of your home including:
1 - Analyze past energy and water usage
2 - Perform a blower door diagnostic test to locate and quantify leaks in your home
3 - Perform duct blaster test to locate and evaluate air leakage in ducts
4 - Visually inspect for any air quality issues
5 - Analyze existing landscaping to minimize water usage
6 - Measure moisture content in structural wood members
7 - Test and adjust hot water temperature
8 - Install compact fluorescent light bulbs, low flow faucet and shower aerators
9 - Inspect home for any insulation, vapor or air barrier deficiencies
10 - Determine if any appliances are creating a phantom electrical or gas load
11 - Document efficiency ratings and working order of appliances
12 - Develop an improvement plan with pricing of improvement options
13 - Explain and discuss suggested improvements with homeowner
Step 2: Results Consultation
Following your home assessment, the LiveGreen Representative will consult with you on our findings and recommend action items based on your home's needs and your priorities and budget as you go green with your lifestyle. The LiveGreen Representative will show you low / no cost solutions that you can do yourself as well as other measures that you may choose to have LiveGreen complete for you. A description of the recommended measures will be discussed as well as the budgetary cost versus the savings of such measures.
Step 3: Green Execution
LiveGreen Inc. offers a one stop source for implementing any and all improvements required. LiveGreen offers a full range of qualified technicians and service specialists to handle any and all green measures that may come to light as a result of our assessment and consultation. Under the strict supervision of LiveGreen's representative, we'll help you implement any necessary changes to your home or lifestyle.
